Conduit is pleased to present the second installment of Charged, a juried program which supports the creation of new contemporary dance works by area choreographers. Diverse in content, style and medium, Charged encourages artists to bring new work to live audiences, and to experiment with new ways of crafting their work. The second edition of Charged features the work of Portland dance artists Suniti Dernovsek/David Stein, Lauren Edson and Lizzie Karr.

Charged, a program which supports the creation of new contemporary dance work by providing up to 8 hours weekly in rehearsal/creative space, technical support, open rehearsal and feedback focus group opportunities, and administrative aid for regional choreographers. The 2007 Charged panel consisted of Linda Austin, Bonnie Merrill, and Minh Tran. Charged: the Conduit Commission Project, is generously supported by the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
