Our beautiful, sunlit and heated studio is available for your performance or rehearsal needs!

Spacious and centrally located, Conduit's space is well-suited for individual and group rehearsals, as well as for artists not looking for the typical proscenium or black box performance setting. While Conduit welcomes proposals for all types of studio rentals, we maintain highest priority for rental proposals that further our mission of advancing contemporary dance.

Studio Information

The dimensions of Conduit Studio are 58’ by 30’.
Conduit seats approximately 75 people, with 50 chairs and 8 risers available for use. Additional capacity can be achieved by renting additional chairs and risers, and/or seating people on floor cushions. Maximum capacity is 110.
There is one unisex changing room available off of the studio lobby.
The restroom is a shared bathroom with other tenants of the floor and is not wheelchair accessible.
A basic sound system of speakers, amp, and a DVD/CD player is available. Theatrical lighting is accommodated by five 20 Amp circuits with 3-5 overhead fixed pipes.
The floor at Conduit is made of soft wood, which limits the types of activities that can be conducted in the studio. A Floor Care Agreement, which outlines restricted activities and how to care for the floor during use, must be signed prior to rental. Use of tape and hard metal objects is restricted.

At Conduit's discretion and based on available space in our current advertising media and the timing of your event, Conduit may provide visibility for your performance, event or workshop through weekly e-announcements, website presence, current printed materials such as class schedules, or flyers, and announcements in the weekly classes. These advertisement benefits are not guaranteed and require prompt receipt from the artist of all appropriate materials including descriptive text, photos, and bio information. Events that fall under Conduit's mission of contemporary dance and performance will be given the highest booking and benefit priorities.
